The Kooparoona Niara Day Tour is a truly unique experience, along the way you will spot incredible Tasmanian wildlife and subterranean vistas. The connection of Aboriginal people to Kooparoona Niara dates back more than 10,000 years; the Pallitore band of the North tribe was based around Mole Creek / Meander. To our ancestors, the Great Western Tiers was known as Kooparoona Niara, or Mountains of our Spirits, culturally significant as the meeting place of three Aboriginal nations.
